She has served on the Laguna Board of REALTORS® since 2018 as the organization’s Community Events Chair and Secretary. She is currently the Board's Community Outreach and CRMLS Committees. She also serves on the board of Waymakers (Laguna Beach Youth Shelter), where Orange County teens in crisis can find temporary housing and the tools they need to for a new beginning. 

 

Brendy moved to Laguna Beach in 1994 from Chicago. She raised her two children in Laguna Beach and knows the school system well. She has been a dedicated volunteer throughout the years at the city’s public schools and with SchoolPower, the Laguna Beach education foundation. She also worked for SchoolPower as the Marketing & Events Manager for 4 years.
